For week 5 of the blogging challenge we were told to make a cool and crazy picture so I decided to make use of my app on my ipod and upload it on here. The app that I used was called minepix. Minepix lets you take a picture then it changes it to how it would appear on minecraft. I thought this would be a very fun way to do this week of the challenge.

For week 4 of the blogging challenge we were asked to talk to you guys a little bit about Earth Hour. Earth hour is a global celabration  that happens to bring awareness to  energy conservation and save energy around the world. During Earth hour people are encouraged to save power by turning off appliances and lights. If everyone in the world participated we would save so much power. So every Earth hour please turn out the lights and do your part.

For week 3 of the blogging challenge I’m going to tell you how to make a good quality comment. A good comment is one with lots of detail, proper spelling and a question at the end of the comment to keep the reader thinking. This also helps keep the conversation going. What I mean by proper spelling is no LoL or lower case i and those kinds of things. When I say put in detail I’m saying you should put proper full sentences and good punctuation. If you follow what I have said this makes a great comment that will make the reader want to reply back.

Vancouver Island is off the coast of BC in Canada. Vancouver Island is the biggest island in Canada, It’s also where I live. The island is truly amazing when it come to the scenery , whether its the mountains the ocean or forests and the wild life. BC is considered one of the nicest place to live in Canada. There are tons of thing you can do to such as visiting the Rocky Mountains, Vancouver or the desert in the Okanagan Valley. Another interesting place closer to where live is Campbell River, a town that has amazing salmon fishing. Another one is the city of Vancouver where the winter Olympics were held in 2010. Some other great tourist attractions in Vancouver are the Aquarium, Stanley park,one of  the biggest parks in BC. The Science World in Vancouver is cool and interesting to go and see aswell. These are just a few of many attractions in BC that you can visit or learn more about.

One out of the two things we had to do for week one is visit 10 blogs comment on them. I found the blogs 18hash that just started a blog and I think he needs some ideas for his blog, can you please help him out. More blogs I found were Winning! by mattp1 which is a very good blog with interesting posts. 18emco’s blog was another new blog that I found needed some encouragement. Please check out those blogs, comment and give them any advice you may have about blogging.

I’m starting the student blogging challenge and this week is getting to know your mentor. I have many questions to get to know my mentor such as where are you from, how old are you and what do you do for a living. Those are the things I would really like to know about yourself. If you could comment on this and tell me about yourself that would be great.

I am participating in an Entrepreneur Fair at my school on May 23 and I need some  feed back on my idea. Please fill out the questions below. Hockey stress is a very terrible thing that often goes along with having a favourite team in the NHL especially around the Stanley Cup Playoffs or when their play is not as good as it could be. It’s hard liking a team that is losing (I know all you Canucks fans must be very stressed right now) so maybe this product will give you a little outlet for your stress. Oh and GO JETS GO!

Just recently I participated in the Tim Hortons community clean up, a program set up by Tim Hortons to help clean up the community. My class picked up so much garbage it’s unbelievable. We found things like an old metal toy truck to a water cooler and  five bags full of garbage. Amazing what people litter. I think the Tim Horton community clean up is a great program for the community to give back. Every school is participating so this went a very long way for great cause. The next step in all of this to keep it clean, that means not littering and getting rid of your waste properly. So if you see anyone littering please tell them to stop what they’ re  doing and clean up what ever garbage you can it is just making the world a better place for all of us. =D

I live in Canada and I’m wanting to go out of the country but I don’t know where to go. I’m thinking of going to somewhere warm like Hawaii or Australia , but I want go somewhere with lots of stuff to do like Europe. I’m looking for opinions of where to go, if anyone knows a great place to travel please comment on where to go.
